[INFO] Common clan rules

These are the official KJ rules made by the whole leadership of KJ, following the common sense of the clan.

Breaking these rules will be punished or lead to a clan kick and new folk applying to join us need to state in their application that they agree to play by these rules, they aren't negotiable so if you dont agree don't bother asking to join us please it will be a waste of your time and ours.

As KJ is proud about being completely legit, the breaking of these rules will lead to immediate kick / pk or probably both:

  • Botting your character
  • Botting your boxed
  • being powerlvled by a bot group
  • using EULA prohibited tools
  • E-buying - earn it don't buy it. (this does not apply to NCStore ofc!)

Clan Rules:
  • Treat ppl like you want to be treated yourself, remember we are the good ones (no flaming, no insulting, no pking of non-botted players for no or small reasons, spamming/scamming is also forbidden.) Members that are found spamming/scamming and therefore damage our reputation as a clan will be, depending on the situation, at least be charged to refund the damage (refusal of this will lead to removal from clan).
  • Each member must be up to date on announcements and scheduled events. For this is it necessary to read the Forum Boards weekly. (registration in the forum boards is a prerequisite of being member here). Members not logging the the boards and frequently miss announcements or are not up to date will be removed after a while.
  • from lvl 99+ you have to participate in Ally, Clanevents WHEN you are online (raid, siege, fortsiege(if announced obligatory)) - Team work is a huge priority for us. If youre lower than 99 participation is voluntary.
  • If you have to, for some reason, leave clan, please let us know the reasons so we at least know, or if you have an issue remember that 95% of the time it can be easily solved by just some simple communication. We realise that there are many decent acceptable reasons to leave the clan for a while and come back and that is fine BUT we dont welcome clan hoppers that just leave, come back leave, come back with no reason, that is just disrespectfull to your fellow clannies. So if anyone leaves the clan with the intention to blackmail the leadership because of a decision/rule or order or left without any reason, he'll stay outside forever.
NOTE: short term single goals are exceptions and it is decided individually regarding the issue whether a temporary detag to achieve something special makes sense and is allowed. Never leave the clan without permission unless you do it out of a final decision.
  • When you are member or trial in KJ you may not be member in another active clan, if you have a clan for your twinks or a "justforfun" clan with some friends tell us about it. as soon as the second clan you belong to with any character has political or progressive ambitions in this game and may interact with KJ in any way: decide between KJ and the other clan since membership in both is not accepted!
  • KJ Clan is politically neutral, this means not only we do not interfere in the big wars with ITT and X but additionally we do not interfere in wars/flames or political struggles we are not part of in general. If you are in group outside of our alliance Serenity and this group is under attack for no obvious reason its most likely war.
In this case you are forbidden to interfere unless you are harmed by the attacking force or are also in a hostile relation with the attackers. This includes heal, dances, buffs, party recall during PvP.
Also if your friend is attacked it is none of your concern as long as it has political reasons we are not part of.
When we get knowledge of a member consciously not following this rule this member has to solve this problem for himself and won't be provided with backup from KJ or KJ-Leadership, furthermore we will take any necessary action to avoid any harm to KJ clan that might come up by such kind of actions.
  • Members of KJ must have a Teamspeak Client installed with our server bookmarked in their server address book. Furthermore people must have a headset with microphone. It is required to have all participating members on teamspeak during sieges/events/raids or regular bigger parties in both PvE and PvP.
(Teamspeak server data can be found in the member section. it is not open for anybody!)
  • We are not a PvE clan, means we expect to have war permanently due to our political demands in this game. We expect our members to contribute to the wars we have. This is especially important for all people interested in joining this clan. If you join Kuei-Jin you join a PvP related clan. Participating in PvP, not only in sieges should be your goal.
Furthermore it is not allowed to interfere with our enemies such as party up with them or help them on game related stuff.
If you define a temporary non aggression behavior with single enemies, this becomes negated at the same moment as another clan mate is engaging in pvp with this character you agreed on not to attack, go and assist your clanmates!
This ofc only applies to enemy characters, it is not forbidden to have any kind of friendly relation to the human players behind these characters of course.

Additional information:
  • Activity is a big factor of being and staying member. As a competitive clan our ressources must be available and accessible. people going inactive for longer than a month without telling a reason and announcing a break will be kicked from clan, permanently! people that do not show up to events, sieges and other clan related announced action that are scheduled to bring forward the clan will be removed to make room for more active people after a while (if we have no room left).
People that want to play this game casually should better look for a more suitable clan with a more quiet and less demanding atmosphere.
  • All members joining KJ have 1 month trialtime.
Within that time the leadership reserves the right to remove people from clan with a short notice about the reasons. In some cases we give out warnings before if we think its only a small issue and see the trial has potential to fix the problems, such problems lead to an expanded time of the trialtime of 1 obligatory week.
What we are looking at mainly is: Activity in forum, activity on teamspeak and participation in clan related events (Sieges of all kinds, raids etc.).
breaking of a direct clanrule leads to immediate kick (as mentioned above).

Always keep in mind, that we are a honorable clan with a honorable storyline on Naia (formally Teon) - dont bring shame on your clan and yourself, have fun and add to the long respectable history we have earnt in our time here in this game. No one person is more important than the team.

the leadership reserves the right on these rules and its improvement/expansion. changes and additions to the rules will be announced and become active at the point they are announced

Cheers,

Kuei-Jin leadership :)

The complete set of rules has been revised by KJ leadership on the 4th of July 2009.

The initial post of this thread has been replaced by the new set of rules.
Please take the time to read them carefully again. If you are already member or trialmember in KJ and have questions or want to discuss the new rules open a new thread in the internal boards.
